the illegal immigrant who has lived here for 20 years and now must return to a country s/he no longer knows
the transgendered person just trying to use a bathroom
the Muslim husband waiting for his family to join him
the mother who needs to have an abortion
the Syrian refugee with no place to go
the father trying to support his family on a minimum wage
the gay couple wanting to marry
the woman not receiving equal pay for an equal job
the child with cancer whose parents have no healthcare
the retiree watching savings disappear
the American wanting the right to vote.
I sit here sewing in my quiet and safe bubble…what about?
